Your Goal at this Stage

Try to achieve the following:

• develop a wide list of values that you might wish to try to bring about
• critically evaluate this list and weigh them up

The main abilities that you will use and develop at this stage are:

• emotional wisdom
• ethical thinking
• critical thinking

Some of the main difficulties that you will face are:

• making good use of your emotions to provide a list of potential values
• sorting out prudential and ethical values
• taking a wide view
• working out what is most important
